I've noticed since the re-map and front brake upgrade (MY01) that i have a lot more power and control in and out of corners, roundabouts etc ;)

My problem is that its now so obvious that the suspension (which is completely standard) is the "weakest link" and has to be the next mod on the list.

So, can someone explain to me the most cost effective way in stiffening the car up a bit more?

I have decided on Prodrive springs over Eibachs as a compramise and i'll go for a decent (front) strut brace but what else can i do thats not going to cost the earth.

Solid droplinks (dont exactly know what these will do), rear strut brace ?

I dont know

Help

It is simple.
Fit a Whiteline set of uprated anti roll bars (or just the rear), a set of solid drop links and a good set-up at somewhere like PowerStation who support this section.
You will be amazed.

Forget the strut brace and springs, fit a 22mm Whiteline adjustable rear anti roll bar. This will sort out your woes in an instant. £99 from DemonTweeks on next day delivery.
I promise you, you will not believe the composure through bends. Do a search.

Also Whiteline solid drop links about £75 for full set of F&R are a bonus.

:eek2: So for less than £200 i can sort it all out :D

The drop links look like an easyish job, i suppose the rear arb is just as easy.

I'm going to assume that my wheel geometry is going to go to cock, so i'll have to have that re-done aswell wont i?

Thanks for your guys :)

You will be amazed what the mod will do.
Alignment will not be affected, just if the alignment is a bit weak, then you will notice it more.

Don't worry. Job will take a lazy 60 mins. Grease the bushes well, put the rear drop links into the middle holes on the roll bar.
Drive it carefully to build confidence and ENJOY! :D
