I have been offered red STI Shocks to replace my standard '96 WRX ones.

Are they much stiffer than the original or would it be something like 10/20% stiffer only?

Plsd to hear.

I have what I can only discribe as "pinky-red" coloured KYB STi shocks on my '93 WRX. (She was imported with them). They give a very hard ride - fine if you do a fair amount of track days (mine are non-adjustable) but on anything less than "perfect" roads you feel every bump & ridge etc. I've sort of got used to them but given the choice, & the state of the roads, I'd probably go for something a little less solid.....
