Question

To keep this as a separate question, exactly how much firmer will stiffer bushes and solid links make my Scoob, if i have them fitted with the anti-lift kit and rear anti-roll bar?

Mine is first and foremost a family car, these upgrades are for my benefit on "play" days, but i don't want to crash down every pothole when i've got the sprogs in tow.

So, are these upgrades really only for the hardcore nutters out there, or will i honestly get real improvements on the road without the need for an osteopath?

ive got eibach springs, anti-lift kit, solid drop links front & rear,
MRT rear anti roll bar, bump steer mod and 18'' alloys on my MY00
my car don't feel any different over potholes than my mates who
only got MY98 with just eibach springs and 17'' alloys.
hope this helps

Cool

Mikee,

It does, thanks. And what would you say on a scale of 100, how happy are you with the effect of these mods? Any downsides at all, apart from the cost (!)?

Thumbs up

Had the ALK, uprated front & rear sway bars, links and mounts fitted last week.

Didn't notice any real change in ride roughness but is does corner damn well

Mikee,

What rubber you have with the 18" wheels? Got my new WRCProdrive but find out that catch the rear arches even when not loaded.Rubber are Bridgestones 225-35-18 and the suspension is Prodrive.
