Default hand brake shoe spring issue

Been searching high and low for the correct hand brake show spring for my UK spec 1999 classic. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I've bought 2 rebuild kits and on both occasions, the bottom spring is too large in diameter (10mm) and fouls the hub. Unfortunately I binned the original spring from one side so I'm one short to complete the job.

Any help in finding one would be great.

Here's a photo with the incorrect spring

Yeah, it's equal length and needs to be approx 6mm in diameter to clear the hub.

Any help would be great.
