Default rear brakes classic... help?

I like to first start by saying that my English isn't that good. but I'm going to try my best to type everything as good as possible

I drive a 99 impreza with original brakes on the rear. this weekend they got stuck and my disk got warm. nothing happend but I want it to be good, because it's my daily driven car

I have 3 options (I think!!!???). That's what I think!?

1.
Buy new pistons and seals to put in my original brakes (doesn't cost a lot)

2.
buy 2 pots from a WRX and put them on the original disks? does this fit?

3.
and option 3 are brembo's. but this is going to cost me to much

are there other options? Am I right about hte WRX brakes, do they fir 1 on 1?

thx for the answers

grts from Belgium

HI
You will probably find its the sliders that are sticking , if you remove , clean and re-grease them it may fix the problem , the pistons do rust on the rear one pot calipers , but its nowhere near as bad as on the front 4 pot calipers.

It may be an easy fix for you.

The rear 2 pot brakes won't fit straight onto your car , you will need the fitting kit we make , and you will also need the larger 290mm discs , the 2 pot calipers will not fit your standard 266mm discs.

Basically the 3 options you mention is about it , if you have the original front brakes still on your car you cannot fit option 3 as it will upset the braking balance of the car

Hope this helps
Cheers Ian
