Don't think so m8 I just used the stuff I got and the metal plates (shim things) that I had ony old brakes, as I said I'm no mechanic I just grudge paying the labour costs whn I can give it a go myself , I found the squealed whn they were warm but I don't do track days its jus my daily drive so swapped the Kevlar for cheep mintex and the squeal was gone , cheers del

We don't tend to get squeal issues on these pads by and large. The anti-squeal shims we sell are very effective.
Glad you got it sorted in the end, obviously the OEM/Mintex pads won't have the fade resistance of the Kevlar pad which is a fast road pad, but if the squeal is gone and you are happy that's the main thing.

i have a similair set up from braketech. Mines also squeal after having been fitted to the car over a year ago. I've approached Aztec who advised accordingly.
The squeal is very intermitten but tends to happen not on hard braking at gradual braking. Like above I have not had the anti-squeal shims fitted as the car has the standard metal shims which were adequate and fine for the first year.
