Default D2 8pot 356mm Kits - sports pads any good ?

I have just bought a D2 8pot 356mm kit for the front of my classic impreza.

The kit comes with "sports pads", but has anyone tried these with the kit ? are they any good ? up to stopping the car ?

I currently have a 4 pot subaru setup and they are terrible ! barely stop the car. So after some good improvement.

Basically, what are these standard pads like ? fit only for the bin or not too bad ?

they are ok for the road, nowhere near as good as some performance pads and I doubt very good on the track but as you have them why not try them anyway.

changed now to ds2500 but the sport pads will be 50 times better than your set up now id say.

Phone http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk

They know exactly what will fit and advise you mate. Think generic AP kits fits them.
