18 x 8's on a STI UK 2002???
#1
Hoping someone could help me please?
I have seen a set of wheels (can't remember names!) but they are only available in 18 x 8 with a 45 Offset (low disk whatever that means?)
Will these be alright on my car without any detrimental effects?
Also what size tires should I get to make sure I keep he same diameter as the standard wheel tyre combination?
Thanks for your help!

I don't know specifically in your case but be aware that currently, there are not many wheels which will fit over the Bremo calipers on the new STi.
I do know that the 18" OZ P1 wheels fit over them but that's about it.

OK, thanks for that info, but are the OZ Prodrive P1s 18 x 7.5 or 18 x 7?
The reason I ask is that I like that style and also the Superleggeras, but I didn't want to go narrower than the standard wheels/tyres, or doesnt this matter much?

The dealer supplied 18" OZ's for the STi7 are 18 x 7.5 and are a modified version of the original P1 wheel.

These Tecnomagnesios are 18x8 in ET48. Great steering feel and plenty of clearance on the STi Brembos (plus all other known brakes up to 378mm).

Another option for your car are O.Z. Super Leggera in 19". Had them fitted as an up grade on mine before I picked it up and are pretty stunning. Tyre size is 225/35, I've got F1's on mine but I got a great quote with Proxes from Scoobymania.
