Forester Calipers
Hi all, a little help if anyone can
I've got a JDM forester s/tb 1997 model and the brake caliper slider bolts have seized meaning that the brakes are binding on, I have tried searching here but cannot find the exact model answer, I need to replace the calipers and wondered if the 2 pot calipers from the same year impreza will go straight on as they seem to be a bit easier to get hold of and also would the 4 pots go as well. If the 4 pot ones go on will they go under 16 inch wheels and are the discs different to those used by the 2 pots.
If anyone could help it would be great
thanks in advance
Gareth

the 4pots will go under certain 16" wheels e.g. the first vehicle fitted with them was the v3 STi and came std with 16" wheels BUT most factory 16" wheels for the Legacy/Forester wont work.....................need 294mm discs
as for the 2pots you have a 277mm disc and yes the 1997> Turbo Impreza's with 2pots are identical
