As the search engine is down and I'm sure this has been asked loads of time, I appologies. However my pads are due for replacement and I'm wondering what I should do. The brakes are standard at the moment, however, I am considering replacing the discs for Godspeeds at a later date.

So which pads, standard, Mintex etc??

Oh, out of interest how long do discs last for??

Ian, click on the last 30 days posts on here and you'll find quite a few recommendations. Depends on your what you're using them for. And good pads are not cheap stuff.

I tried all sorts of pads on my standard brakes and by far the best , in my opinion, were Pagid Blue.

There are pads with more braking torque such as DS3000, but these will probably warp your disks.....

I haven't tried DS2500, but I'm about to.
