Default clunking sound when pulling away

as you know i have had all my brakes replaced (new front rotors/pads,rear discs and pads and the handbrake adjusted) after my car has been stood all day at work i go to drive off and its like something is sticking and it sort of bangs/clunks as i pull away, after that its fine its only when the car has been stood for a long time, the brakes work fine and pull me up straight and true and the handbrake holds good on 4/5 clicks

any ideas?

could just be the handbrake sticking a little, the shoes will be new so so all the sharp edges etc intact, give it a few K miles and see if its the same.

Sounds like pads moving in the caliper. After the initial clonk does it stop until you then reverse ?

If you rule out the brakes themselves, its possible that your hub nuts need tightening up. Had this one mine that i was finding a clunk noise when starting stopping and sometimes dropping down a gear, got a tiny bit on the hub nuts and sorted it out...you'l need a big bar though!
