Question

If a manufacturer was to create a set of tyres, with 4 tyre 'styles' being specifically designed for each corner, would they be better than a single tread pattern?

e.g. Directional design like(SO2/Toyo/Goodyear like) for the front, and something a bit more radial / blocky at the rear.(S03 like)

Directional would be beneficial in the fronts for getting rid of water, but are they as necessary in the rear as most of the water has already been displaced?
