STi 7 weight loss programme!
#7
We have them made ourselves, complete with integral brake light in the blade. Bolt on using the original mounting points.
Price is £250.00 (+ vat where applicable).
As you can see, that is also my personal choice from the wide variety I have available to me.
I have some more photo's, if you want any, drop me a direct mail (see profile)?

Nick.
I seriously wish I knew what you are talking about? What have I missed?
Matt.
LOL, you know you want to, the level of feel over the Brembos is nothing short of stunning. Weight savings could be slightly better with an 18" wheel?
It only gets better.

Mike,
I'm sure this topic was up on 22b.com yesterday, I replied saying that I think you're telling porkies, as I reckon the Brembo's are still on the car in the second pic, still the look of the cars the same.
If you keep losing weight at that rate, ther'll be nothing left soon!
Ron.

OOps, had to edit the weight figures stated originally as I can't tell the difference between Imperial and Metric.
Sorry, above figures are now correct (and still quite impressive)

Hehe, no, I've not heard that one before, and five wouldn't cover it (IYSWIM).
I think NTL registered that domain for us automatically when we installed ADSL at the office, which is on Palm Street.
Our building was a church when it was built, nice to see it's still being used as a place of worship.

Hmm, not entirely sure. It was there? Has it been moderated or has a "bug" eaten it?
Anyway, the crux of it was that changing out the Brembo's to AP 6 pots has reduced unsprung weight at the front by 4.0Kg per strut!
There has been further aided by fitting 19" (Gold powder coated) OZ Superleggeras, which reduced unsprung weight at all 4 corners by an additional 1.3Kg.
Total (unsprung) weight loss = 13.2Kg
Before:-
and After:-
Mike.
Edited because I mixed up some imperial measurements with metric measurements so the original figures for weight loss were overstated. (Sorry). I've corrected the figures above now. As you can see the weight saving is still substantial though.
