Question

I have an MY96 with two pot calipers and 270mm discs on the front. Would like a bit more braking and less fade. Can I simply buy a set of 4 pot calipers off of a later model + 293mm discs and just bolt them on or are there other mods that need doing as well?

TIA

Rich

Yes but you'll need my 4 pot spaesaver wheel too. Otherwise completely painless mod.

I had standard Subaru 4pots put on my 95WRX, as far as I know they fitted straight on but I had to replace the standard wheels with 16" MY00 wheels because my old 16" wheels would catch on the calipers!

The brakes will bolt on easily, but as mentioned only a few types of original wheels fit. The std 16" 5 spokes around MY98, and the MY00 type. Some 17's may also foul, though not sure.
