I've been running them for years, they are brilliant. Mine also run ians Brembo GT calipers which DO fit under WRX 17" wheels, although mine is a classic.
I shall be ordering my THIRD set next week.
I use Ian's Kevlar pads too, which are similarly good.

On my classic: STi Brembos using Ian's fixing kit/thicker brake shoes.
The discs came when I bought the calipers and were in good nick, so were kept, otherwise it would have been Godspeed grooved ones

You have the brake bias valve removed and the system joined up, and re-bled.
The brake bias valve biases the brakes strongly towards tyhe fronts, so it's removal makes the rears do more work.
I couldn't believe how much less "dive" I got and how much more planted the car feels under heavy braking.
Mine was done at DLM Motors in Darlington. Darren and Harvey Smith rebuilt my engine and did this at the same time, Harvey's idea.
