Sure it was brake judder?? Are you wheels balanced properly? Apparantly you can balance them for higher speeds as well??

I had judder under braking only some of the time. The garage said it could be worped brake disks, so they were checked with the dial gauge, it showed no problem. After looking at other possible problems, I had the disks changed and the problem has disappeared

It's quite common for discs to distort (warp) only when hot. Therefore under light braking in normal use, they feel fine and only begin to judder when you brake hard, or do a series of lighter stops in quick succession. Also, as the discs are fine when cold, you cannot detect the problem with any measuring device.

I have exactly the same problem. The brakes are fine when cold, but when hot the disks feel as if they are warped. How do I convince my local dealer to change the disks under warranty if the warp can't be measured?

Could it be anything else?

Cheers

To resurrect an old topic (the miracle of "Search")...

If the discs only warp when hot are they shagged? Is this a problem that can be somehow fixed?
Does it happen with all discs?
