Have you asked M4GGYS (sorry if I have misspelled the name) on here for a quote. He runs Ruislip tyres and always seems to be helpful to all :-)

Weigh up the cost of delivery v take a nice drive to a place with good prices and fitting. Tyres are so important that choosing a make just because they will only supply that brand is not the way I would choose mine. I take your point about the local company's but look online as I am sure you must be able to find one just ourside your looking area

I'd use Camskill. Some companies will fit non supplied tyres. Try smaller companies or independent garages that do tyres rather than big tyre centres.you could try BlackCircles as they arrange fitting for you.

i cant get vredesteins through my suppliers im afraid the rep i was using to try and get a good deal on them passed away before i could strike a deal

try scamskills or the likes of them

i would charge between £10-15 a tyre to fit own tyres brought in to my shop which accounts for the valve balanceweights etc and my time

If you was a little closer I would have come down for you guys to fit them. I don't expect them fitted for free from ANY tyre fitter, I would gladly pay 20-40 quid to have them fitted. It's not about the monies, they all just refused to fit them money in the pocket for them at the end of the day.

Thanks again for all your help

some places wont fit as they think its taking the pee bringing tyres in that were purchased elswhere , some dont do it due to company policies heath and safety bullshi7e.

i fit most times as its an easy £40-60 for me back burner

My local tyre place charges £30 to swap a set of tyres over.
Vredesteins are also available via tyremen if you can't find stock elsewhere cheaper.

I just got a set of 4 225/40/18 sessantas fitted for £500 inc all the tyre disposal, bits & bobs fees etc from ASF Tyres in Crowborough. £640 for 4 is a rediculous quote. Could have probably saved about £50 buy getting them online then taking them somewhere to get fitted but couldn't be bothered with all the fannying around.
