Default Rear brakes squeal

My rear brakes have started to make a squeal/rubbing noise

It once happens after about 30mins of driving the car so when the pads are hot,

When I apply the brake lightly the noise goes away.

I'm kinda lost to what it could be ...?

Could it be worn hand brakes shoes that are rubbing ? (surely they should only be engaged when the handbrake is)

The pads are Basicly new as well.

Ill be interested to see the answer here. My rears have been making a graunch type noise at low speed, goes when I apply the brake pedal even by a couple of mil. Bloody horrible noise.

sounds like either the pads or the caliper are sticking............strip and clean and make sure the pads can actually "slide" in the caliper

I had this with mine, i stripped the brake and re greased the pads and the edges so it could slide freely. Job done. Think it was the pads getting stuck in the caliper.
At first thought it was my caliper seizing.
