Dealer lowers tyre pressures at service.Why?

I normally run the car on 33/28 pressure (99MY, 205-50/16's) and my pressure gauge is accurate.
Car comes back from service and is now on 29 / 26.
Is their gauge out or do they run better on lower pressures ?

Get yourself a good tyre gauge. Some dealers and tyre fitters really have no idea how important pressures are, as this thread proves - 26 and 36psi 
Halfords are okay but Demon Tweaks have a very good selection.
