Default rear 2 pot upgrade help!

Well...

I have the 2 pot subaru rear calipers.

They will fit 290mm discs?

The 2 pot gc8 and wrx 2001> are the same?

thanks

Hi
Yes they will fit , as per your PM to me earlier the subaru 2 pots will not fit the STi 316mm discs , but on a classic they will fit the 2001 onwards WRX rear 290mm discs , but you will need the mounting bracket kit to fit the calipers on
Cheers Ian

These will only fit if he fit the thicker handbrake shoes as the type R uses a 190mm handbrake instead of the usual 170mm classic handbrake , makes it all more expensive

I know. But if he buys thicker shoes from you they will. The fitting kit for the brembos should fit these calipers and discs. Right?

Because the brembos fit bolt-on on my Type R. just needed calipers and discs.

The fitting kits for subaru 2 pots and brembo 2 pots use the same brackets , but different thickness spacers and different threads on the bolts.

Buying thicker shoes will be the expensive way of doing it as the WRX discs are a lot cheaper than the thicker shoes

Cheers Ian
