Default metal to metal sound on new discs and pads????

hi had new pads and discs fitted today to rear on my02 wrx and now at low speeds and when turning which ever way i get a slight metal to metal sound is this just them wearing in? as they where worse when they first left the garage today so rang him back and got him to come and grab the car again as he said the brakes may need wearing in and as i had work i could not do this, anyhow he took it back to the garage as it was quite loud took it all apart again and double checked everything was put back right, rang me back and said see how it goes over the weekend but its still there a little bit when turning on full/nearly full lock at low speeds does it take a while for them to bed in proper? any info greatly received

quite likely that the rear dirt guard is distorted / has a build up of corrosion and is catching the back of the disc under load...........

Or the little metal backing plates that fit on the rear of the pads. Have a good inspection of the brake disc and caliper area. I would be tempted to take it all apart to have a proper look but if your not confident then your best leaving that with the garage.

Cheers for the info and back in soon anyway as it needs new front calipers so waiting for them to come in so will get it checked then its better than what it was but im still getting it on sharp turns at low speeds and at high speeds will see how they go take it for another blast today.
