Default 18x8 and 4piston breaks

ok so i am getting a gen 1 impreza soon. and iv been looking into some upgrades. big question is braking for me, so everyone always goes to brembro and there big break kits are like what 2000-4000$ (havent looked at subarus) i just found a kit i want ot pick up and its for a RS gen 1 imprezas only. big question is if i dont have the RS (the one i am getting is not a rs) i assume there the same spindles though so it should be the same bracket so i wont have a problem getting my kit to fit one bit. the kits is a full slot/drilled rotor with decent pads and 4pistion brakes
the next issue this kit comes with is it requires you to run 18's only. so i wanted to run KMC rockstar rims and i dont know if they are the right size. there 18x8 with a 42 offset. now i looked around and xcceleration.com said you should run a 43-47+ offset fr subarus is this true? anyone know if a 42 will work or can i just space it out to give the offset i need?

heres the site its 1100$ kit. i mean i figured slotted/vented rotors and pad will cost like 600@ so the extra money is well worth the calipers and there more then likly 1000$ cheaper the brembro
