sticking brake caliper
Hi all, my passenger side brake caliper(4 pots) suddenly stuck on whilst in the outside lane of the m25 pulled over to the hard shoulder as it was causing a bad vibration and lots of smoke awaited recovery. When i got home drove for around 30mins and it was fine. Does this mean i need a new caliper.
Thanks
I drove 600miles last week and not a problem

Pistons are most likely beginning to seize. Don't get a single replacement, as per your wanted thread. because most people won't split, brake\suspension components should only be replaced in pairs and lastly, the same thing will happen again.
Search Ian Godney's caliper refurbishment service, and have them done by a pro.

When you get this done you also wont believe how bad your brakes had become - i had 1!!! piston working on one side and 2 on the other - bloody scary - set of recon calipers and pr of new discs as its odds on your one will have a warp and if your doing it yourself try and get some grease back into the wheel bearing - dont forget a smoking disc dries them out big time
