Have been snooping around looking at various potential brake upgrades and came accross the Tarox 6 pot conversion. Available for less than £1300 inc VAT. Seems a reasonable price even though the caliper itself would need 'pretty-fying'
Here's a quick pic, they're also available with drilled and grooved discs.
So the question is.............are they any good? Cant say I've seen many scoobs with them on, or heard much on here about them.

not an expert, but i'm sure I have heard that the tarox kits do not have dust sheilding and thus not really suitable to normal road applications. Of course I could be talking bollocks.
I'm fairly sure lordlucan (Jase) used to run tarox 6-pots on his car.

john,
you have trusted me before, now trust me again.
dont buy them. they are not in the same league as the big boys.
This is not from personal experience this is from listening to people who I trust and respect. In valued circles I have not heard one positive remark.

Run em for a while and as the person I sold them to has now sold them on for a fair bit more than I sold them to him for so I wont be annoying him saying this !!!!
I can report they are no better than standard, the main problem being they are designed to be stripped down and rebuilt regularly, with no dust seals, so they wont last a harsh winter. I tried them on the Ring last year and decided on my return to get rid ASAP. Dont do it.
