ABS Fuse Removal?
With snow now imminent is anyone else thinking of pulling their ABS fuse
I've actually found my blobeye ABS to be over the top even in normal conditions and have heard it is a complete nightmare in the snow although this will be my first winter with it.

I actually found my fast road pads (old generation EBC) were making the ABS oversensitive....cold front pads meant the rears were locking before the fronts (only very slightly - barely noticable) and this somehow made the whole system get its knickers in a twist (no brakes or crap stopping distances when ABS is triggered yet its OK when ABS is not triggered etc.). Plus at this time of year when the car is driven very hard means they were never up to temp to work properly.
Swappped to OEM equivelents (well Unipart actually) and it made the ABS behave much better.
Still not great in the snow though, but if you say you are finding it over the top even in normal conditions, then maybe you may need to think about why the ABS is being oversensitive...And that could be down to a few things, wrong pad choice, pad compound mismatch between front and rear, or a sticky caliper (common on neglected four pots). And, tyres (of course ).

Hmm, just had new Godspeed kevlar pads and discs up front. Rear Pads and discs replaced a year ago. Front calipers are just fitted too with SS Pistons from Scoobyworx.
That would only leave a possible sticking rear caliper on the 2 pots, could this cause it?
