Default D1spec wheel nuts

Hi
Has anyone had any problems with these. Done a track day and one wheel came lose, fortunately was able to return to pits and re torque. I torque'd them to 70 lbs them up to 80 after it came lose. The rest of them have now gone tight on the threads. Thinking of running a tap throughout to clean them, or bin them?

i had a problem when coming to remove them, mine were the long style and when undoing them they twisted.

They were quickly removed and replaced with rays locking nuts.

They are officially ****e. They twist, the treads break off... I've had a newly refurbed wheel come off and overtake me on a bend! Also on a motorway 3 wheel nuts flew off and the last was held on by nothing more than luck.

Don't put your life at risk.. buy rays and be safe

you really should use a deep socket to stop them twisting.
Lots of fakes out there too.
