Unhappy

As title says coming from the front of the car as it slows down it only clicks the once unless i release brake pedal and press again.
Brakes still work fine though but i am a bit worried. Any help out there?

Could it be the pads rattling a bit?

Does sound like pad knock.

Does it do it every time?
If not, does it do it when you reverse and brake, then go forward and brake?

(Not an expert by the way, just I get the above, and it's the pads knocking about..)

Cool

Had this problem after bedding in my new Godspeed kit.

It was indeed the pads movin about but Ian (Godspeed) sorted it by fitting these little spring clips to the calipers that put pressure on the pads to stop any movement.

Suppose these are widely available to buy.

Hope this helps.

I had same problem many moons ago on an RS Turbo. Turned out to be an oversize hub which was playing hell with the wheel bearing under load of breaking.

Just another posibility.

Cheers,

Rob
