Default Pros and Cons of running 215/35/18 tyres

I have a set of Ultralite ATEC alloys that I had on my Celica, which are wrapped in a decent set of Toyo T1-S. Tyres are 215/35/18. The alloys will now be going on my Impreza which is the same fitment.

Will the tyres be ok to use on my Impreza WRX MY05 even though the common size seems to be 225/40/18?

I run 215/35/18 on my classic and i must say ride is preatty hard(i have BC rm series set to 8/10) and i am really carefull when driving close to the curbs and pot holes.

Side walls are really stiff too.If i were you i would swap them for 225s.

Decided to definitely change them for 225 / 40 / 18 which I understand is the common size to go for.

I ran 215/35/18 on my innovit wheels on my MY06 Hawkeye. Bumpy as hell. Eventually changed them for 225/40/18 and car is like a dream to drive now!

My wheels are 7.5" wide. Fairly sure 225s fit.
