cheers guys, so im better with the 9.5's and 35 offset, is there a lot involved in rolling the rear arches for these wheels to fit? also if going for 235/40/18's i am contemplating going with the yoko AD08 neova tyres, can anyone comment on these?, i know they are road legal track tyres i dont do a lot of miles maybe 5k per year as its a weekend car cheers- stu

Hi
We have done a couple of New Age cars with 9.5" wide Rotas on and the rear arches will need rolling.
This is not a particularly big job to do, we can do it if you fancy a drive down to sunny Newcastle!!
I think that 8.5" wide wheels, especially if you are going ET35, is a better fit for these cars. Anything wider and it is just a touch too wide/low offset combination in my opinion.
We are getting good reports back on the AD08s we have supplied. We have a set here to go on our new project but not tried them on it yet.
Thanks
Keith

I ran the 9.5's on my 03 STI with 235 40 17 rubber and whilst no problems on the front with 5mm spacers, the backs were a pain in the ****.
I rolled the arches but youll want to really get the lip that joins back to the main 3/4 panel or that will cause some issues.
Depends on what your doing with your car. If you have it lowered then youll want the hardest setting on the coilover to stop it rubbing.
If your tracking your car then I would say dont bother with the 9.5 rims. They look brilliant and youll get the attention they deserve, but on track youll also get the scrubbing and constant fear that something isnt really as it should be.
My personal experience of these wheels Oh and as said the 8.5 inch doesnt have the agressive look of the 9.5's
