I am running Aztec Kevlar pads on my fronts, they give off very little dust and are much better than the last pads that were fitted (dont know what they were though, were on the car when i bought it). I'm very happy with them and aztec sorted me a good deal

I've run Bob's kevlar pads all round for over 12 months and haven't found them too bad, not too dusty either.
You get fade if you do a few hard stops, but these aren't track or race pads so I think that's fair enough personally.

Just switched to EBC blue stuff and still bedding in with my K-Sports so can't offer a fair comparison yet, but I'd say the kevlar pads are probably somewhere between EBC red stuff and EBC Yellow Stuff, but with less brake dust.
Not a problem if you have black wheels mind

They are a good first step upgrade in pad material aimed at customers who use there cars as everyday drives , and like to press on every now and again , they are not suitable for track days.

We still have some good offers on with discs and pads , with the Kevlar front and rear pads for the WRX on offer for £95 for front and rears including next day delivery , and £99 for the STi brembo set up.

Check out the trader announcement page for deals we have on the different discs and pad packages

Cheers Ian

Godspeed vote here!

I upgraded the wifes OE discs & pads on her John Cooper Works BMW Mini, to Godspeeds grooved discs all round with kevlar pads.
They're nicely run in now and all I can say is WOW.... They are loads better than standard. Great bite from cold, with no fade as yet....

I got the Kelvar front and rear pads from Ian (godspeed), also go the groved discs as well, as i am running on 320bhp Legacy RSK, with the car's weight and speed, i think they are way better than what i had EBC red stuffs before, and it is very fine for fast street used, not try it on the track yet, but someone told me they are not good for the track tho. So with that price, you can't say wrong.

Thing is mate, mini's are far lighter than a Scooby, but I bet with Godspeed discs that things stops on a sixpence now!

Depends how you drive it mate. I found kevlar pads were ok for everyday driving and the odd occassional hard stop; they're just not up to track work - which to be fair to Ian, he also points out further up.
I've gone for Blue stuff on my K-Sports, and am pretty impressed with the bite and stopping power - pulls up at least 1-200m earlier now than I could manage on my old 4 pots if I need to stop hard.
Don't seem to get any fade either, so all good!

No complaints from me with Ian's discs either, ran a set on the front and back without any issues, although I did kill the set on the front within about two and a half years which surprised me.
The rears I still have and they're fine.

MY97 with 4pot front and vented rears, running Ian's kevlar pads and grooved discs all round.

Brakes work well cold and better hot. Hard to fade them on the road (and mine gets driven hard enough to burn the laquer off the front wheels) and minimal noise/dust.

Probably best £200 spent on the car in the last 5 years/75,000 miles

That was my whole point, I found they worked better than the Kevlar ones (non track use)!!!
