Default Brembo fitting bolts

Does anyone know where i can get hold of 4 Brembo mounting bolts for the front? Ive got the Gold calipers but need the correct size bolts to fit them to the car.

Any ideas??

They ate M12 x 1.5 pitch hex head bolts, 48mm long total with approximately 10mm shank, high tensile. Also need the 2mm thick spring washers to suit. Should be easy enough to get from any local bolt supplier.

Good luck. Andy

That's what I'd do. If they let you. Mine now tell me there is a ridiculous minimum order value on parts. I swear they are getting worse!

Correct ones? CORRECT ONES? What's correct one? A bolt is a bolt FFS.

And where does a STEALER get them from? Yep, a bolt and nut stockist.

A bolt is a bolt !
Go to any bolt suppliers and ask them for M12 x 45mm long , with a thread pitch of 1.5mm and a tensile strength of 12.9 , will cost you about 50p each
Cheers Ian

Wouldn't go with Allen bolts mate. Stick to hex head if you can get them!

Me too. Just been on to my bolt supplier he says that specific size with the short shank is made specifically for that motor trade application.

Generally speaking you calculate the length of a bolt & shank as follows: 2x thread diameter + 6mm, sooo…… your M12 would have 30mm thread for a 45mm long bolt, so a 15mm shank as standard not 10mm. Also the grade is very difficult to come by in anything but socket cap head (allen bolt). Again, specific to motor trade for the hex head with 12.9 grade high tensile.

1. Get them from Subaru. Easy.
2. Settle for allen head bolts with no shank. (Not best solution without shank)
3. Get different grade high tensile bolt (Also not ideal).

Good luck!
