Tyre width & geometry dilemma
Hello all.
Well, one of my front Tyres has a slow puncture, plus the other side has worn really oddly (I'm guessing geometry is off after someone ploughed into me while parked) and needs urgent replacement...
Here's my dilemma, my rear Tyres probably have another 5000 miles left in them, and are 225 wide. I wanted to try 235 all round this time but obviously due to circumstances (and cost) I'm not gonna be able to do all 4 at once... but legally I need to sort the front.
Would it be ok running a 235 at the front and the 225's at the back for around a month when I can replace the rear to a 235 too?
If so, would I be able to get my geometry done with 235 front 225 back, or would I just have to have it done again when I was the same width all round... just don't want to tear my new fronts up until I can afford the rears.
Cheers all
