Question

I'm going to put prodrive's P1 on my WRX wagon, and i'm wondering if anyone has significant opinions on using either size.. I'm using it only for street use, and personally I like the looks of the larger wheels, and know that it should improve the handling - but will there be any rub, or drawbacks to the 18's over the 17's??

Thanks for your help!

If we are talking the MY01/02 WRX wagon then 18's are what you want. The arch is large enough to take an 18" or 19" wheel even when lowered. The handling is better and the steering feels firmer, and you will get slightly more feedback. With an 18" wheel you should run 225/40/ZR18 tyres. The only drawback I can think of is the extra cost for tyres.

A pic to illustrate. Not lowered as springs still on order.

Thanks for the feedback, those wheels definatly look sweet on your ride. Do you have a straight-on pic of the headlight conversion you did?? What type did you use?

Thanks again!
