Hi
Does anyone know a good alloy wheel refurbisher in the Sussex area who has done Subaru gold wheels before, who you or someone you know used? I have one wheel on my recently purchased hawkeye which is pretty scuffed on the edge so needs touching up. They are the standard 17" gold STI wheels. Any idea how much I'll be looking at? I'm estimating no more than £50-60?

Well I tried the company above but I'm not sure. They quoted £70 per wheel. Is this a fair/normal price?

Depends on the service, for a tyres on front face respray - no for a full strip, blast, weld/fill, powdercoat, paint then yes.

Cheers mate. Well I asked South Coast Cosmetics what was included, and whether it did include a full strip, tyre off, weld fill etc for that price and they never got back to me..so I'm assuming not so wont be using them. Search goes on. I'll look at the companies you suggested, thanks. Pain as I have one wheel I just think lets the car down so want it sorted ideally. Also, even when clean my gold standard 17" wheels look like a faded gold which still looks good but I wasnt sure if this is the normal gold colour tint, or should they be a bright gold? Cars only just over 4 yrs old so cant imagine they would be faded and the colour must be standard.
