Wheels for winter tyres for legacy
Now seems like a good time of year to start thinking about winter tyres. I have a 2011 Legacy 2.0D SE which has 225/45R18 tyres. Would 16 inch rims be better for winter - the Legacy 2.0D S has 205/60R16 tyres so presumably 16 inch rims would fit the SE ?
Also can anyone recommend a supplier of steel rims rather than getting a second set of alloys?
Thanks

16" alloys will probably be cheaper than steel rims. Have a look in the for sale, they are usually quite cheap.
I use 17" wheels for the winter, with Toyo SnowProx tyres. Paid £30 for the wheels and tyres.
