Default K-Sport Sqeel

I have k-sports on my car, there great and work really well, If i really use them there quiet no squeeling but when im driving round town the brakes squeel every time you touch them, Is this normal how can i stop it

A charachteristic of proper brakes I'm afraid.

My stoptechs did the same, as did my mates AP's on his evo.

can also be simply donw to the bedding procedure (or lack of) and also materials used - some pads are far noiser than others

Excellent least i know its normal for this pad as there were bedded in, Ill try a different pad next time :-)

Not guaranteed to work, but you could try putting some ceratec anti brake squeal lubricant on the back of the pads. Another possibility is to try 3M anti squeal pads, I cant find a link now, but had them on the back of DS2500 pads on K Sport brakes and quietened them down loads.

However replacing the pads with EBC Bluestuff has made the most difference, no squeal at all now.
