who should fit an ap 6 pot brake kit?
#1
Finally got my ap 6 pot kit today and just my luck both of my scoob main dealers are fully booked up for a week plus.
Thinking about getting a local garage to put them on for me.
How hard are these kits to fit?
Is there any part of the setting up that needs experience or specialist scoob knowledge?
Are shims needed to centre the disc in relation to the calliper or anything like that?
Apart from putting them on the right way, anything else to look out for?
Cheers

They do need fitting carefully and torqueing up correctly Etc. you I can't tell if they need shimming as thet require a bit of 'on and off' routine to ensure that the discs centre correctly in the calipers.
If you're stuck, give us a ring and we'll book you in (a LOT cheaper than any main dealer would charge you as well).
