Default Wheel fitments

Hi and il start by apologising for another silly question lol
ok, im not too clever when it comes to the whole different wheel fitments obviously i know basics on 17",18" ect and widths depth and how many studs...but im trying to find some wheels for my bug that are alil diff from norm.ive seen some that are currently fitted on a vw bora, now there 5x100 and 18's but how do i work out rest? :s is there any makes of cars that use same fitments? When i had my nova many moons ago i remember renault and some others fit!

There are a few other car makes that use the 5x100 pcd but the offsets are all a little different.

Your stock offset is about +53, and you can got to about +42 without any drama's on a 18x8" wheel

Offset is the measurement that determins how far the wheel sticks out or sits in. The lower the number the more it sticks out!

Some VW rims fit, beware of ET 35 that's way too much for a Subaru...

The centre bore is different on VW too, so they won't seat on the hub correctly.

If in doubt quiz the supplier and pay with a credit card so they will sort it if it all goes wrong...
