I have been running my tyres with nitrogen rather than the normal compressed air and have found the following.
They hold their pressure well, had them done in Jan when it was -3, have checked them every couple of weeks and have noticed that even with the air temp up around 16 they are the same pressure. Have checked them after running them on trackdays and at the ring when seriously hot and the pressure remains the same as whne put on.
My question is, is this a good thing? Has anyone else tried it? Should I drop my tyre pressures when going on track or just leave them well alone?

If you're happy with the pressure as-is on track, then leave it in. Only reason I didn't do the same was because I normally change pressure on track - if the tyres get very hot then I actually need to drop it.
How hard were you driving on track, and with what suspension set-up? I would expect the tyre to get very hot (melt, in fact ) and there to be pressure fluctuation regardless of the nitrogen. Been wrong b4 though....

Are you sure the pressures didn't change as the tyres heated up?.
It is a basic law of physics that says the pressure will increase.By the way this is the same principle on which car engines work.
