Question Another wheel/tyre size question

Hi,

Thinking about getting some Rota Grid Drift's in white, gun metal or gun metal matt (cant decide) for the 2.5 STi Hatch.

18 x 8.5 et35 seem to be the ones to go for. I want the wheels to fill the arches, but not cause problems with the suspension, or the need to roll them. I will be changing putting some prodrive springs on it at some point.

Also, tyres...

VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA - 245/40R18
or
VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA - 255/35R18

Any advice you lot could give would greatly be appreciated.

Cheers,

Richie.

the 18x8.5 would not be the drift pattern so you wouldnt have the concave look .the grid drifts start at 18x9.5 , the 8.5s are still a nice wheel though

for the drift style wheels you would have to go 18x9 with a 235.40.18 tyre . i.e the rota force, boost, fighter or svn wheels

Hi, cheers for the reply. Which ones are these if drift's start at 9.5? I am a tad confused now :s

These are the puppies on Cusco Kid's car, although he has them confused with Rota Torques from what I can tell.

Richie.

they are slightly concave but not as agressive as the drift series, the proper drift stuff is 9 and up even though the 8.5s are listed as drift series in the rota shop .

drop me a pm and ill do you a deal on the wheels if and when you want them as im a rota dealer
