brake warning light and buzzing

brake warning light and buzzing
Hi,the ABS warning light came on my 93 wrx and when I stopped I heard a loud buzzing coming from a black box next to the brake lines and air filter box,I disconnected it and it stopped pugged it back in and its been fine....any ideas?
