Aint no tyre master but usual advice is 2 swap front & back regular so u get even wear & so u replace all 4 in 1 go & avoid any different grip level probs?
So good luck anyhow but i should think all 4 wood b cunning if not cheap plan.

I got quoted 137.77 all incl for P ZEROs
No idea if this is any good though, I am looking for 4 and I would also like advice on a good all rounder need to get some before I go to the Ring In May.
Hope this is of some use. I shall keep an eye on this thread.
Cheers All

Top three rated tyres (in no particular order) on here seem to be
Eagle F1 (new GS-D3 revision due soon I think)
Bridgestone SO3
Toyo T1S
General consensus seems to be P Zeros are good in the dry but dire in the wet. SO3 users report they need 500+ miles to come good.
Avoid Avon's like the plague. One or two good mention for one of the Falken series, can't remember which one though.
Me, I've got F1 GS-D2 on and I'm very happy with them.
HTH,
Chris.

F1 D2's are going the way of the beloved SO2PP's in that you're gonna be hard-pressed to find them. I've been trying for a couple of weeks now to no avail and seem only to be able to get F1-D3's, of which I heard nothing, probably cos its too soon to tell.
Best price so far for F1 GS-D3's 215/40 on 16"'s is £90/each fully fitted, from Tanvic tyres, who also quoted £81 for D2's.
My attitude is that unless you are independently wealthy or have a large fun budget then you want something that gives the best balance between performance and wear on both the tyre and yer wallet. Toyos are too soft I hear, but give better grip and are more expensive. No-one seems to argue for Michelin Pilots (same tread pattern) nor for the bargain-basement FK-451's (same tread pattern, and I've seen too many of em on modded-up Nova's) and past threads have suggested that S03's are pretty good but perhaps only for 17" wheels.
