Default Which braided lines?

Where would be the best place to source some braided brake lines for my 96' classic? & rough idea on cost for all four corners too.

Cheers.

Hi
I will have them back in stock this week , we charge £55 for a hose kit which does all 4 corners , and a litre of Dot 5.1 high performance brake fluid , P&P is £8.50 , we supply HEL braided hose kits which have stainless steel fittings and plastic coated pipes , in my opinion they are the best available
Cheers Ian

Thats the ones mate for a 2001 Classic with the standard 4 pots!

I will be checking the state of my current (DBA grooved) discs, although these may be why i'm not very impressed with the current braking setup??

If they need doing i will probably want a pair of your front discs from the GB and Bluestuff pads for the front,Bluestuff rear pads (if it's recommended to have a matching set of pads front and rear?),some of your Hel lines and the fluid.

In your expert and honest opinion, will this seriously improve the braking..........and more importantly my issue with fading? As my other option is just to go with the K-Sport GB.

Then all i'll need is a good price for the above if you wanted my name at the top of the list for a possible group buy

It really depends on what your looking to get out of your brakes , and if your looking to do track days , the bluestuff pads are very good , the first time I have ever though that about an EBC pad , they will work very well and will be a big improvement over the standard pads , but will still have limitation if your looking to do hard track days , but thats down to the size of the discs.
I believe they would take just about everything you would throw at them for fast road use , but at the end of the day there is no substitute for size when is comes to brakes.

I have an VW Passat 130 tdi sport estate I use for work , its chipped up and goes very well , it has one pot calipers on the front so will not work as good as your 4 pots , I just fitted my own grooved discs and bluestuff pads front and rear , the brakes are totally transformed , and I have not got them to fade yet , and I haven't half tried lol

TBH Ian that sounds perfect for what i need,i don't and won't be doing track days etc,the car is only used on the road so it is just the fade that i get with the current pads that i need to eliminate (from looking in the history i think the pads currently fitted are at best just the first step up from standard compound).

Can you let me know when you definately have them in stock and i can ring you and get them ordered.

Will it be worth/advised to change the rear pads to the Bluestuff at the same time, and if so,will these also be in stock?

Thanks.

Need some help guys...

I own a subaru impreza GT MY00 (equivalent of UK Turbo) and have installed the rear gold brembo from an STI new age. Now I bought the front gold brembo calipers as well and want to change the brake lines too.

HEL is unknown to me. How do they compare with goodridge? Should I buy the ones made for GC8 or for new age STI?

Here are the part numbers from Goodridge:
SSU0201-4 Impreza Turbo - All Standard models 1993-2000
SSU0250-4 Impreza Turbo - Aftermarket Brembo Conversion 1993-2000
SSU0500-4 Impreza Turbo - All Standard Models 2001+
SSU0550-4 Impreza Turbo - Aftermarket Brembo Conversion 2001+

thanks in advance
