Hi,

Does anyone know what size the fittings are on brake hoses for 2006 STI Brembo's?
I want to order some custom ones but am not sure what sizes I need.

All the threads are M10 with a 1mm pitch , I can supply you custom hoses , what do you need ?

Im after a set of braided hoses for my 2006 STI. They are to fit the Brembo's.

Id like a set without the hose attachment clips in the middle of them, just the plain hose with the fittings either end.

Reason is my Coilovers have 'P' clips to hold the hose in place.

Hi Nic
What do you mean by P clip ? the difference in the off the shelf kits , is the early kits for cars up to 2000 they are a clip holding them onto the strut , from 2001 onwards they are bolted on to the strut bracket.
The HEL kits we supply have plastic strut fixings on them , so if you didn't need them you could just cut them off

The hose kits are £55 including a litre of Dot 5.1 high performance brake fluid , plus delivery , P&P to the UK is £8.50

This is like the 'P' clips.

I just need the plain hose as it will be clamped by the 'P' clip.

So can I cut the Hel hoses to achieve this?
Also how much for Performance friction front discs and Performance Friction front and rear pads please ?

Hi
No you dont have to cut the pipe , you can cut off the bit on the hose that clips onto the strut , as on the HEL hoses they are made of plastic.
I can do it for you if you want.
I can supply you PF front discs for £550 a pair , and front and rear pads for £199
