I've used them. And TBH, I thought they were/are a good tyre.
Very reasonably priced as well, got mine for £280(4x17's).
As for grip, I found it had loads for my style of driving especially in dry conditions, and gave me tons of confidence in the wet also.
It's horses 4 courses m8, really depends on the price you're willing to pay, and your driving style etc. wasn't prepared to pay £400 for toyo's when I won't drive any different when using the falkens. I also remember when these were one of the top tyres a few years ago, what's changed??

I'll be at the big one if ya want to talk somemore!!

No need to buy more expensive tyres when these are about they are very very good. I will not use anything else especially now I am on 235-35-19 as shown here - http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?threadid=83905

I'm using them also, not had anything else to judge them with. But mine have lasted for 16k motorway miles with at least 1/2 the tread left. I put them on my wifes V6 Mondeo and they have not last well on the front ie 6k and need to be rotated.
I find them them slightly noisey on the motorway and when they break way. Also not sure about the levels of grip in the damp, fine in the wet & standing water. I find in the damp with no ABS they lock easily, this maybe just my style (reactions !) and a very firm brake pedal.
Overall I'll be using them again because of the execellent mileage and reasonable cost.

hello

i have them ...215/35/18 as an alternative to the toyo's.... i like them, and although they int as good as th goodyear f1.... you cant get a 215/35/18... and have to go 225 which i think is too wide.
plus the falcons are cheaper.

let me know if you are wanting some... see my thread on tyres

Mark - don't take them on track, they wear quickly (700km's of N'ring/set). They're cheap, but not that cheap!

You are all winding Joseph up, right?

I would rate them "a gnat's" behind Nankang Ditch Finders and level with Lassa Hedge Splitters

If you can make good progress with these in the wet, I bow to the size of your genitalia.

Thanks for yourhonesty Pete. I have tested them and come to the conclusion they are worse then rubber bands.

Exclamation

Joseph

Now that you know their history, it may be the fact that I gave them some gentle mileage at Donington and Brands Hatch track days last year is a contributory factor to their demise
