Question

Had MY02 WRX for 2 months and fancy colouring the wheels to either gold or anthracite, on checking prices of full "dip colour coding" I was rather suprised at the average £55 per wheel (£220 for 4) just to change the colour!!
A friend has said that spraying the wheels would work as long as they are prepped properly and the surface is lightly scored (no break in the top coat)
Just wondered if anyone has tried to spray their wheels and if so what was the outcome and was it all worth it?

I know it sounds a bit cheap, but for another £700 I could get a set of 18's, I only want to change the colour for now and £220 is rather excessive!!!!

(one day I will learn to spell!!)
