Purchased a set of wheels and tyres from a STI UK owner going to 18" wheels.
Noticed the STI wheels were heavy. Circa 19KG with new tyres as opposed to Ccirca 15KG fom the 01 WRX wheels with bald tyres. So large increase in unsprung weight for a 6% increase in width.
Stood the STI UK wheel and tyre vertically , when it fell over, the impact of hitting the road on the Gold painted face was some chipping of the gold paint. Not good for the longevety of the coating.
Noticable that the inside face of the spokes is say 6 mm further away from the disk calipier than the WRX wheel.
