Default 2.0 sport brakes help

I need new brakes for my 2.0 sport. Cant find any specific ones for the sport so my question is.. Are the brakes on the sport the same as on wrx, sti ect? Oh and its on a 97 btw.

no generally they use a 260mm front disc from memory..............

Looks like both classic 2 pots (277mm disks) and 4 pots 295mm disks) will fit.

OEM quality disks are cheap, just buy decent pads and fluid.

What size wheels are on your car? thats the biggest factor stopping you going up in size.

Lol that link you gave me was a

My thread lol, but i didnt know someone had replied. Ive got 17" wheels so i think i could go up? Might have to go down scooby breakers and see what i can find.

You can easily fit the subaru 4 pots and 294mm discs (16's fit these), a very good upgrade for your sport

you would need those "bright" calipers blasting atleast
if your not keen on the colour then just browse the for sale section for a few days, these come up quite regulary, just the calipers on their own and then get the disc/pads for another 80-90 quid new

Yea they would deffinatly need a respray. Just thoughg that 200 all in incl discs and pads was a good deal. Im deff keen for 4 post though. Thanks for your reply btw

Depending on your 17s, you could go for 4pots plus a godspeed 355mm conversion. Or for more money Ksport 8 pots or Alcons or APs. Out of the bigger brakes available, the OEM STI Brembos on the newage cars won't fit where the others will.
