08 WRX/STI Tyre/alloy choice?
I have just bought a grey WRX STI. Delighted to have another subaru previously had a 53 plate STI which my other half hated! Bought a cooper S which she wrote off. Persuaded her to take a test drive in new model which she thinks is great.
The car is currently on 17 inch standard alloys which i think lets the looks of the car down so have decided to replace them. Question is what to go for next? I think anthracite or black would look best are their any websites/companies which you would recommend. Would 19s go on without spoiling handling. Could a spacer be put into set the wheels out wider? Any pictures/links to websites where i could see cars this colour with different alloys?
TIA

A few pics of different wheels in this thread (but suggest you use the search function or you will be there all day, we have put over 3000 posts about the hatch STI in this thread in the last year!)

Suggest you stay with 18" as the 19" can spoil the ride on UK roads IMO and you won't need spacers, unless you want to go for the agressive, wheels hanging outside the arches, look
Also stay away from the 5 spoke Lusteric wheels Subaru do as they are a bit heavy, the Prodrive wheels are great looking and light but pricey:

Can recommend these guys, and you can upload an image of your car to see what the wheels will look like:

And what some of our fellow hatch STi owners in the USA are up to:

And finally you could introduce yourself here and ask the same question:
