Mintex 1144 is a rough equivalent of Ferodo DS2500 and I would expect them to be fine for road although I have no experience of them. The 1155 and 1166 pads are advertised as "not for road use" although that is true of many uprated pad materials. I have the 1155 pads in the front of my track (kit, not road legal) car and they are a little dull when cold but nothing dramatic. Specifically 1155 and 1166 are formulated to withstand higher temperatures of track/race use which results in some compromise.

Mintex 1144s are an excellent pad, fine for the road and the odd trackday, I've used them to to great effect in my TVR, no problems road or track, (the TVR is quite a bit lighter than a Scoob but they'll be fine regardless) 1155 / 1166 pads are really only suitable for track use as their cold performance isn't great plus they squeal more are dustier and harder on discs then OE, another pad you should consider are OMP Road & track pads, YBracing are doing them for £36 a set delivered on Ebay at the moment,

I had a full set of these in a Volvo 850R I had recently and I couldn't really fault them, an occasional squeal at low speed but much better high temp performance no fade compared to OE, if I'm honest I'd probably still go for Mintex but given the OMPs are almost as good at less than 1/2 the price they do represent great value.

1144's give you an evo style squeal, i hated them and wont use them again. i have blackdiamond grooved discs and with these pads they were deafening where as std subaru pads are fine.
I dont do track days, but live in the isle of man were there are NO speed limits out of town and regularly use the TT coarse for my fun. the 1144's are great at not fading but i couldnt stand the noise from them. i paid £60 for fronts to suit subaru 4 pots
